There are 3 different ways you can create alert / event filters:

  1. manually create an event filter (gear icon -> event filters). Keep in mind that the event filters you create will be active from the moment they are created, and will not filter out previous events.
  2. when you look at a specific event under "Events", you can select "Filter similar events". A filter will then be created and can be viewed under "Event filters"
  3. from Topology, at any section you can select "Mute". This will create a filter for the component you are currently viewing. You can edit or delete the filter under "Event filters"
